This memorial (Track 17) to the Jews transported and murdered under the Nazi regime was finished on 27th January 1998. 186 steel castings with inset text are set in railway ballast. On each casting, the date of a transport is shown, the number of deportees, the departure location in Berlin and the destination.

The vegetation which has grown between the rails on track 17 over the years was left undisturbed. This is part of the memorial and is symbolic for the fact that a train will never again depart from this platform.
