This is about a 10 km (6 mile) walk mostly next to the water, so it's hard to get lost.

Start from Wannsee station or, from there, catch the 114 bus to shorten the start.

Walk over to the piers beside Wannsee where the boat trips start. Turn left and walk along and up onto the bridge. Don't go underneath it. Cross the bridge and turn right into Am Großen Wannsee. Walk along this road past the many sailing clubs. You can visit some of the water-side villas.

Turn right into Haveleck and stay by the water. Keep going along the sandy Uferpromenade, enjoying the view out across the Havel.

When you get to the Wirtshaus zur Pfaueninsel, you can stop and have a bite, or you can keep going a bit further, climbing up the hill to find Blockhaus Nikolskoe for cake with a view.

Return to the water's edge and continue on towards Wirtshaus Moorlake. This is the last restaurant and the next stop is Schloß Glienicke where you can catch the 316 bus back to your starting point at Wannsee.
